General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("GTC") govern individual subscriptions (B2C), platform subscriptions for organizations, and professional licenses (B2B) for the AL Technologies service, published by AL Technologies, 50 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris (SIRET 982 128 720 00017).

1. Scope

• B2C: monthly subscriptions purchased by individuals (consumers) on learning.altechnologies.fr.
• Organization platform: subscription to the AL Technologies management and authoring workspace, purchased by professionals (training organizations, trainers, companies) on learning.altechnologies.fr.
• B2B: licenses purchased by professionals (companies, training organizations, independent trainers).

2. Plans and Pricing (B2C)

Three subscription plans are offered (Discovery, Essential, Expert). Current prices are displayed on the Subscriptions page. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT for consumers residing in France.

3. Subscription and Payment

Payment is made online by credit card via our service provider Stripe. Payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe and is not stored by AL Technologies. An invoice is sent by email following each charge.

The B2C subscription is automatically renewed each month until the user cancels. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period (no prorating).

4. Right of Withdrawal (B2C)

By subscribing and immediately accessing scenarios, the user expressly acknowledges requesting immediate service execution and waiving the right of withdrawal. In the absence of content access, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days.

5. Cancellation (B2C)

• The user may cancel their subscription at any time from their personal account, at no cost and without justification.
• Access to the service is maintained until the end of the paid period.
• No refund is due for the current period, except as required by applicable law.

6. B2B Licenses

B2B licenses are offered in the following forms:

• SCORM/xAPI License: integration into a third-party LMS via downloadable package.
• Embed License: integration as an iframe in the client's portal.
• Mixed License: both modes above.

The license is assigned by name or limited to a maximum number of learners, for one or more scenarios specified at the time of order, and for a specified duration. The precise terms (number of learners, scenarios, duration, price) are defined in the purchase order or invoice.

7. B2B Financial Terms

B2B licenses are paid in full at order (credit card via Stripe) or by invoice (bank transfer at net 30 days). Any payment delay results in, after formal notice, the application of interest at the legal rate increased by 10 percentage points and a fixed recovery fee of €40 (article L.441-10 of the Commercial Code).

7 bis. Organization platform subscription

The platform subscription (Starter plan and higher plans) grants access to the AL Technologies management workspace: AI authoring studio, your scenario catalog, classes, learners, progress tracking and training documents (certificates, reports, attendance sheets).

• Pricing: billed per active seat. An active seat is an account (manager, author or learner) provisioned and not deactivated in the workspace, whether or not it logs in. Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT at the applicable rate (20%) is added. The applicable price is the one displayed on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.
• Trial: the Starter plan includes a 7-day trial. A payment card is required at sign-up; no amount is charged during the trial. At the end of the trial, the subscription continues and billing starts, unless cancelled beforehand. Without a valid payment method, the subscription is automatically cancelled.
• Billing: monthly, by payment card via Stripe. The billed quantity reflects the number of active seats over the period. An invoice is issued at each billing cycle.
• AI authoring credit: each plan includes an AI authoring credit expressed in euros, renewed monthly and non-carryover. Additional credit can be purchased (carryover); purchased credits are non-refundable.
• Cancellation: the organization may cancel at any time from its workspace. Access is maintained until the end of the current period; no refund of the current period is due, except where mandated by law. At expiry, workspace access is suspended, data is retained, and access can be reactivated by taking out a plan again.
• Scope: SCORM/xAPI export is not included in the Starter plan (available on the Small Business, Enterprise and Creator plans). Higher plans are subject to a quote and specific terms.
• Data: the organization is the data controller for its learners' data; AL Technologies / AL Technologies acts as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR in providing the service, in accordance with the privacy policy.

8. Warranties and Support

The Publisher warrants that the service conforms to its published description. In case of malfunction, support can be reached at privacy@altechnologies.fr. Warranties of fitness for a particular use not explicitly provided for are excluded.

9. Force Majeure

The Publisher shall not be liable for non-performance resulting from force majeure as defined in article 1218 of the Civil Code (including: major third-party infrastructure outages, large-scale cyberattacks, health crisis affecting operations).

10. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. For B2B licenses, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may be established upon request sent to privacy@altechnologies.fr.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
